Alyssa - 16 - probably human but we're not going to check.
Seems to have a near-amorous relationship with the act of writing. We have learnt to not ask questions and to avoid her during November.
To keep her happy we just throw her a Terry Pratchett book and hope she can keep her damn trap shut for more than five minutes.
Is known to refer to herself in third person. We don't know why, but it's a good excuse to lock her up.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I honestly have no idea what to do anymore, or where I’m going. I had inklings and ideas, but they were gone quick fast. I’m smart, but I’m not school smart. I’m creative and bubbly from time to time, but I don’t know how to apply that. I can be informative, but I’m quiet and shy. Seriously, even…
Find your dream. Find where you heart is. Sometimes, it takes people lifetimes.
Find what makes you happy, what sets your soul on fire and fuels your mind. Find what makes your heart soar, what you want to share, what you want to give back.
What do you want, Amanda? More than anything. What do you want to be? I’m not talking about a job - I’m talking about something more than that. Do you want to be an inspiration, a voice, a guide? Do you want to make people laugh? Make them cry? Make them open their eyes to things that might not have been there and show them the light of new ways of thinking and seeing?
Do you want to create new things? To destroy ignorance? To see the world? To change it?
Life doesn’t come with a plan. You don’t need to think up one now. Do they know what they want to be? Did they know who they were when they were your age? Few people do know, even fewer want to.
Let go of the bad things. They’ll eat at you. Try different things - charity houses, small courses, taste a bit of everything and anything until you find somewhere that’s comfortable. And, even if you don’t, it’s not the end. Talk to people, not just family, friends or teachers, but actual people.
Do what you love.
